Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin Seeds are a seed item used for growing pumpkins. They can be found in underground chests in both Deep Snow and Deep Swamp Caves, making cave exploration one of the main ways to obtain them early on. They also become available for purchase from the Farmer after the Reaper has been defeated, giving players a reliable way to restock once that progression point is reached.

Because Pumpkin Seeds are tied to cave loot as well as late-game vendor availability, they fit naturally into both exploration and farming progression. Players who want a steady supply can save any seeds found while exploring and later supplement them through the Farmer once that merchant's stock opens up. Since they are not tied to a single surface biome or a one-time reward, they can be acquired repeatedly over time.
