Spruce Double Bed

Spruce Double Bed is a furniture item used to decorate rooms and function as a bed. It is crafted at a Carpenters Bench and belongs to the larger family of beds in the game.

Like other beds, Spruce Double Bed can be used to set your spawn point, provide healing while sleeping, and fast-forward time at 20x speed. It is a double bed, so it serves the same practical role as other beds while taking up more space than a single bed.

A few important rules apply when using beds:

• In multiplayer, all players must be in a bed for time to fast-forward.
• If your spawn point bed is destroyed, your spawn point reverts to near the Elder's house.
• A bed only works if the room around it is not too large; the maximum room size for a bed to function is 500 tiles.
• If the room exceeds that limit, the game shows the message "Cannot Set Spawn Outside" when you try to set your spawn.

Because it is both functional and decorative, Spruce Double Bed is useful for player bases where you want a larger bed with the same core benefits as any other bed. It is best placed in a properly enclosed room that stays within the size limit, so it can reliably serve as a spawn and sleeping point.
