Wool

Wool is an animal product obtained from a Rabbit or Sheep. It can also be found at the Traveling Cart, and Emily may send one in the mail as a gift. Wool is used in several crafting and tailoring applications, making it a useful farm product even when it is not sold directly.

Placing Wool into a Loom produces Cloth. Using higher-quality Wool improves the chance of getting Cloth: silver Wool gives a 10% chance, gold gives a 50% chance, and iridium gives a 100% chance. Because of this, quality Wool is especially valuable for consistent Cloth production.

Wool is also used in the Sewing Machine. Combined with Cloth, it creates a Plain Shirt, and when placed in the dye slot with a dyeable clothing item, it acts as a white dye ingredient. This makes it one of the more versatile animal products for players interested in tailoring and outfit customization.

• Wool may be requested at random during any season on the Help Wanted board outside Stone's General Store.
• Accepting that request rewards gold and 150 Friendship points.
• Wool will never be requested unless the player owns a Rabbit or Sheep.
