Blue Grass Starter

Blue Grass Starter instantly places a patch of Blue Grass when used on the ground. Like normal grass, it can spread over time to adjacent tiles on the farm, creating more Blue Grass patches. Once a Silo has been built, Blue Grass can be cut with a Scythe to produce Hay.

Blue Grass Starter can be planted in Winter, but it will not grow or spread during that season. This makes it useful for placing Blue Grass ahead of time, while still requiring a suitable growing season for it to expand naturally.

It has no use in Tailoring, but it can be used as a blue dye source. It works at the dye pots in Emily and Haley’s house, 2 Willow Lane, and also in the Sewing Machine spool when combined with a dyeable clothing item.
