Linen Cape

The Linen cape is a late-game cape armor piece made from Linen Thread and Silver. It is part of the padded armor tier and provides only modest protection on its own, but it is valuable for expanding a player’s cold-weather gear options.

At quality 1, it has 1500 durability and 1 armor, with later upgrades raising it to 1650 durability and 4 armor. The base crafting recipe uses 20 Linen Thread and 1 Silver at a level 2 workbench; upgrading it requires only Linen Thread, with 4, 8, and 12 thread needed for qualities 2, 3, and 4 respectively. Its weight is 4.

A notable drawback is that, unlike the Lox Cape, the Linen cape does not protect against Freezing, so it is not suitable for the Mountain biome unless combined with some other source of frost protection. Because of this, it is most useful as a general-purpose cape for armor progression rather than as a dedicated cold-resistance item.
