Linen thread is a crafting material made from Flax in a Spinning Wheel. The process is automatic once the wheel is supplied, and it takes an average of 30 seconds to produce one Linen thread.

It is a late-game component used for a wide range of high-tier equipment and upgrades, especially black metal weaponry and padded armor. It is also required for the Linen Cape, the Lox Saddle, and the second-tier saddle for the feathered mount. Because of its importance, Linen thread is one of the key products of Plains farming and processing.
