Bloodstone

You wonder how many deals have been made to appease this gem. How many palms have bled onto it in exchange for its power?
Overview
Bloodstone is a late-game Ashlands resource used to infuse certain high-level weapons. It is also one of the materials required to craft the Gem Cutter.
Bloodstone can be found in chests inside Charred Fortresses. It can also be obtained from the unused Goblin_Gem creature, which does not appear naturally in the game but can be spawned with the console and drops all three kinds of Ashlands gemstones.
Its main use is in weapon infusion. When a weapon above level 1 is infused with Bloodstone, it is reset to level 1. The resulting bonus increases damage by 0.2% for each point of health missing from the player, making it a stronger choice when fighting at low health.
Bloodstone is used to craft the following weapons:
- Bleeding Berserkir Axes
- Blood Fang
- Wound Ripper
- Bloodgeon
- Splitnir the Bleeding
- Blood Nidhogg
- Brutal Slayer
- Dyrnwyn
- Dundr
- Magic Wand
It is also used in the Gem cutter recipe, alongside Flametal, Ashwood, and Morgen Sinew.
