Flametal Tower Shield

Flametal tower shield is a heavy tower shield that blocks a large amount of incoming damage, but it cannot parry attacks. Like other tower shields, it is intended for steady defense rather than timing-based counters, making it especially useful for players who want maximum protection while advancing or holding a position.

Its upgrade levels improve both durability and block armor, while also increasing the material cost of each refinement. At quality 1, it has 140 block armor and 200 durability. Upgrading to quality 2 raises it to 146 block armor and 250 durability, and quality 3 reaches 152 block armor and 300 durability.

Upgrade costs are as follows:

• Quality 2: 10 Ashwood, 4 Flametal, 2 Asksvin Hide
• Quality 3: 20 Ashwood, 8 Flametal, 4 Asksvin hide

Because it cannot parry, Flametal tower shield rewards a defensive playstyle built around blocking, positioning, and absorbing hits rather than deflecting enemies with perfect timing. Its high block armor makes it a strong choice for surviving heavy melee pressure, especially when paired with weapons that let you control space between blocks.
