Bombogi

Overview
Bombogi are fast hostile creatures that become dangerous the moment they are aggroed. Once alerted, they begin a detonation timer, making close-range engagements risky even if they are not immediately able to reach the player. They are also very durable and are immune to all weapon damage, so conventional combat is ineffective against them.
Their most notable weakness is environmental and positional control rather than raw damage. A Bombogi can be triggered by jumping on its head, and repeated jumps will knock it back. Because they cannot be killed by weapons, the practical ways to deal with one are to force it off the map or simply survive until it explodes on its own.
- Do not rely on firearms, melee weapons, or other direct attacks; they do not work on Bombogi.
- Keep your distance once one is alerted, since its detonation timer starts on aggro.
- If you can safely do so, use vertical movement and repeated head jumps to push it backward.
- Luring a Bombogi into a ledge, pit, or other fatal drop is the most reliable way to remove it before the explosion.
- If escape is not possible, retreat and let the timer run out rather than wasting time attacking it.
