Failed Titan

A rare specimen of a colossal cicada that would have become a titan. But due to becoming corrupted with crystals inside its husk, it died when it tried to finally emerge.
Overview
Failed Titan is a naturally generated scene in the Shimmering Frontier. It appears as part of the biome’s world generation rather than as a crafted structure or guaranteed landmark, and it may be absent from some worlds entirely.
Its exact purpose in gameplay is limited, but it is notable as one of the few known examples of the unseen Colossal Cicada species. Alongside Colossal Cicada Husk and Mold Cicada, it suggests that this creature family exists in the game’s worldbuilding even though it is not fully encountered as a regular enemy or boss.
- The Failed Titan does not appear in every world.
- It is found in the Shimmering Frontier.
- It is associated with the Colossal Cicada species.
