Golden Chocolate

Golden Chocolate is an epic food item that is exclusive to the Christmas event. Like other consumables in its class, it can be eaten to provide a permanent maximum health increase, making it one of the few seasonal items with a direct long-term effect on a character’s survivability.

Because it is event-only, a new game started during the Christmas event can technically begin with a slight advantage over a game started outside of it. In practice, however, the health increase from Golden Chocolate is very small compared with stronger foods such as the Atlantean Worm Heart, so the early benefit is limited and does not significantly change long-term progression.

The item’s tooltip is a subtle reference to Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, where Golden Tickets hidden in chocolate bars are central to the story. This makes Golden Chocolate both a functional event reward and a small nod to classic children’s literature.
