Large Temple Crate

The Large Temple Crate is a destructible scene object found in the Oasis as part of the desert temple dungeon. It is one of the breakable temple furnishings that help populate the area and fits the same dangerous underground theme as the rest of the temple.

Because it appears in the temple, exploring around it usually means dealing with Cavelings, Caveling Shamans, and Caveling Brutes. The surrounding area is best approached carefully, since temple enemies hit hard early on and can overwhelm unprepared players.

Practical exploration notes for the temple area include:

• Bring a hoe to clear Stone moss, since removing it prevents more Caveling enemies from spawning.
• Activate any waypoint you find before going deeper so you can return quickly if you die.
• Ranged weapons are safer than melee in this dungeon; Iron Bow and Flintlock Musket are strong early choices.
• Bring plenty of food so you can recover during longer fights.
• Iron armor is a solid early set for this area because the added defense helps you survive enemy hits.
