Minion Detonator

The Minion Detonator is an epic off-hand accessory. When used, it causes all of the player's active minions to explode after 1.3 seconds, dealing 500% of the minion's damage as both explosive and mining damage in a 2 tile radius.

Because the effect triggers on all active minions at once, the Minion Detonator is best thought of as a burst-damage tool rather than a sustained combat accessory. It can rapidly convert an existing minion army into a short-range detonation, making it especially useful when enemies are grouped tightly together or when you want your minions to contribute mining damage in an area.

A few practical points follow from its behavior:

• The detonation is delayed by 1.3 seconds, so positioning matters. Enemies can move out of the blast area if they are not kept close.
• Since it affects all active minions, the item scales well with minion count and with minions that already deal high damage.
• The blast deals both explosive and mining damage, so it can damage targets while also interacting with breakable terrain within the radius.
• Its 2 tile radius is fairly small, so it works best at close range or in confined spaces where enemies are harder to spread out.

As an off-hand accessory, it fills a niche that is different from passive stat items: it rewards timing and setup. Players who rely heavily on minions can use it to turn a minion build into a sudden area burst, rather than only a steady stream of hits.
