Phantom Spark

Phantom Spark is a legendary bow. It is notable for its on-kill effect: defeating an enemy with Phantom Spark has a 20% chance to summon a temporary Ghost Scholar that heals and fights alongside the player. This summon chance is not affected by upgrades.

Its secondary use, Strong Multishot, fires up to 4 extra projectiles depending on charge time, making it more effective when fully drawn. As a legendary bow, Phantom Spark is intended to combine direct damage with occasional support from the summoned ally, giving it both offensive pressure and a small amount of sustain in longer fights.

A few practical details are worth noting:

• Phantom Spark has no durability, so it cannot be reinforced.
• Ghost Scholars automatically despawn after 15 seconds.
• Since the summon triggers on killing blows, the bow is strongest when used to finish off groups of weaker enemies and chain its effect repeatedly.
• The 20% summon chance remains the same regardless of upgrades, so improvements to the weapon are best thought of as boosting combat performance rather than the summon rate.
