Cooked Blob Fish

Cooked Blob Fish is a food item and a variable wearable added in the Summer Sun Update. It is made by cooking a Blob Fish on a Camp Fire or BBQ, producing one Cooked Blob Fish from one Blob Fish. Cooking takes 12 seconds on a Campfire and 6 seconds on a BBQ.

The Blob Fish used to make it is caught in the Southern Ocean at night during Autumn and Winter, so players usually need to fish after dark in the colder seasons before they can prepare this item. Once cooked, the Cooked Blob Fish can still be worn as a novelty item, occupying the head or face slot.

Because it comes from a seasonal night-time catch, the Cooked Blob Fish is mainly a good example of how fishing, cooking, and cosmetic wearables overlap in Dinkum. If you want one for collection or for its wearable use, the most efficient approach is to secure Blob Fish during the correct season and then cook them on a BBQ when available to cut the processing time in half.
