Item Sign

The Item Sign is a furniture item that can be made at the Signwriting Table after obtaining Sign Writing Licence Level 1 from Fletch. It is used to display the image of a held item, making it a simple way to label storage, rooms, or any area where item recognition matters.

To set up an Item Sign, hold the item you want to display and walk up to the sign. When the interaction prompt appears, press the corresponding button to place an image of that held item on the sign. The sign uses the normal interact button for this action, and the displayed image appears brighter at night.

• Item Signs work inside the player’s House Move Deed and Guest Houses.
• Only items that can be held in the player’s hand can be displayed.
• The sign shows an image rather than text, so it is best used for visual identification of items.
