Overview

Exoskeleton is an equipment item that increases the player's movement speed. The player's base movement speed is 8.902 tiles per game-second. Each additional Exoskeleton increases speed by 30% of that base speed (8.902 tiles/game-second), producing predictable incremental speed gains.

The cumulative effect for 0–6 Exoskeletons is:

  • 0 Exoskeletons: 8.902 tiles/game-second (100% of base speed)
  • 1 Exoskeleton: 11.483 tiles/game-second (129% of base speed)
  • 2 Exoskeletons: 14.286 tiles/game-second (161% of base speed)
  • 3 Exoskeletons: 16.866 tiles/game-second (190% of base speed)
  • 4 Exoskeletons: 19.672 tiles/game-second (221% of base speed)
  • 5 Exoskeletons: 22.472 tiles/game-second (252% of base speed)
  • 6 Exoskeletons: 25.026 tiles/game-second (281% of base speed)

Practical notes:

  • The speed increase from each Exoskeleton is calculated from the fixed base movement speed of 8.902 tiles/game-second, not from the current (already-boosted) speed; the increases therefore add linearly in percentage of the base.
  • The listed values show the exact tiles-per-second results and percentage of base for 0 through 6 Exoskeletons, allowing straightforward planning of desired travel speeds.
  • Because the boost is a fixed percentage of the base, doubling the number of Exoskeletons does not double the current speed but adds the corresponding multiple of 30% of base speed.
