Imported Cow

The Imported Cow is a discontinued item that was used to spawn a Cow. It was part of the game’s animal-related trading inventory before being removed, so it no longer has a practical use in current versions beyond appearing in older worlds or records.

Before becoming unavailable in version 0.27.0, the Imported Cow could be purchased from the Animal Keeper and sometimes from the Traveling Merchant. It was added to the Traveling Merchant’s shop in version 0.20.1. Because it directly spawned a Cow, it functioned as a simple way to obtain that animal without needing any additional crafting or setup.
