Imported Pig

Imported Pig is an item that was made unavailable in the 0.27.0 update. Its purpose was to spawn a Pig, making it a progression-related utility item rather than a combat or crafting material.

Before it was removed from normal availability, Imported Pig could be purchased after defeating the Pirate Captain. It was sold by the Animal Keeper and could also sometimes appear in the Traveling Merchant’s stock. This made it a late-game acquisition tied to exploration and merchant access rather than early settlement building.

Because it only served to summon a Pig, the item’s value was mainly in giving players access to that animal without relying on other sources. After 0.27.0, it no longer functions as a standard obtainable item in normal play.
