Gunsmith

Overview
The Gunsmith is a village resident who specializes in ranged weaponry and metals. He sells simple bullets and guns, making him one of the earliest dedicated sources of firearms-related supplies. He also buys a variety of Bars and minerals from the player, so he is useful both for outfitting a ranged build and for turning excess ore products into coins.
In addition to trading, the Gunsmith can be assigned to several settlement tasks, including hauling, crafting, forestry, and farming. This makes him a flexible worker in a village, not just a shopkeeper.
The Gunsmith buys the following items at the listed prices:
- Copper Bar: 7–10 coins
- Iron Bar: 8–12 coins
- Gold Bar: 12–18 coins
- Broken Copper Tool: 40–60 coins
- Broken Iron Tool: 50–70 coins
- Demonic Bar: 12–18 coins
- Ivy Bar: 15–22 coins
- Quartz: 20–25 coins
- Obsidian rock: 5–7 coins
- Life Quartz: 25–35 coins
- Tungsten Bar: 25–35 coins
- Glacial Bar: 25–35 coins
- Mycelium Bar: 25–35 coins
- Ancient Fossil Bar: 25–35 coins
Because his stock focuses on basic ammunition and guns, the Gunsmith is especially valuable early on when ranged combat is becoming more important. His buy list also makes him a convenient buyer for common metal bars and other processed materials that may otherwise accumulate in storage.
