Swamp Zombie

Swamp Zombie is a variant of Zombie that appears in the Swamp biome. It is slightly rarer than regular Zombies and can be encountered on Swamp Surface at night as well as in Swamp Caves. Like other Zombies, it is one of the first monsters a player is likely to meet early in the game.

At dawn, Swamp Zombies will run toward the nearest edge of the zone instead of continuing to fight, matching the behavior of other surface Zombies. Their main notable reward is that they have a chance to drop Swamp Sludge, making them a useful early source of that material when exploring swamp areas.

• Also spawns in Swamp Caves.
