Tungsten Carpenters Bench

The Tungsten Carpenters Bench is a crafting station used to craft Furniture. It sits in the carpenter bench progression, being upgraded from a Carpenters Bench and further upgradable to a Fallen Carpenters Bench.

Like other crafting stations that support station-based recipes, it can draw on materials from nearby containers when the Use nearby inventories checkmark is enabled. In that mode, crafting materials can be taken from containers within a maximum distance of ±5 tiles, which makes it much easier to work out of a stored workshop instead of carrying every ingredient on hand.

Because it is tied to Furniture crafting, the Tungsten Carpenters Bench is mainly useful as part of a base-building setup. Placing it close to storage lets you craft large furniture projects with less inventory shuffling, especially when the needed materials are spread across multiple chests. For the best convenience, keep the bench within range of the containers you want it to access and arrange your storage so commonly used crafting materials are easy to reach.
