Dried Mushroom Wrap

Overview
Dried Mushroom Wrap is a preserved food made from Mushroom Wrap in a Dehydrator. It is one of the dehydrated ration items in Oxygen Not Included, meant to convert a fresh meal into a lighter, shelf-stable form that can later be turned back into the original dish with a Rehydrator.
A single Dehydrator recipe converts 6000 kcal of Mushroom Wrap and 12 kg Plastic into 6 units of Dried Mushroom Wrap and 6 kg Water. Each unit can then be rehydrated individually: 1 unit Dried Mushroom Wrap + 1 kg Water = 1 rehydrated Mushroom Wrap.
- The conversion preserves the meal type, so rehydrating it returns Mushroom Wrap rather than a new recipe.
- Because the process produces water, dehydration is not a pure storage loss; it trades material and machine time for compact food handling.
- The recipe is useful when transporting or stockpiling food where reduced mass or long-term storage is more important than immediate consumption.
