Bog Jelly

Overview
Bog Jelly is a plant-grown food made from Bog Buckets and produced from polluted water. It is a renewable swamp-biome food source: each unit of Bog Jelly generally requires 6.6 Bog Buckets and consumes 264 kg of Polluted Water per cycle. If Bog Jelly is the colony’s only food source, each duplicant needs about 0.54 units per cycle, which works out to roughly 3.6 Bog Buckets and 144 kg of Polluted Water per cycle per duplicant.
Bog Jelly can also be cooked in the Electric Grill into Swampy Delights. Beyond direct consumption, it is useful as ranch food: Lumb can eat Bog Jelly to convert 1300 kcal into 300 kg of Peat, while Blum Lumb can eat the same amount to convert it into 198 kg of Algae. In both cases, this is more efficient than feeding them Ovagro Figs or Bristle Berries, and a single Lumb needs 4.67 domesticated Bog Buckets to be fully fed.
Because Bog Jelly depends on Bog Buckets, its production is tied to the cultivation rate of those plants and a steady supply of polluted water. That makes it a strong option for colonies already generating polluted water as a byproduct from toilets, oil processing, or other industrial loops. If you are planning Bog Jelly as a primary food source, it is important to account for the water burden as well as the ranching or farming space needed for the Bog Buckets themselves.
For colonies with access to the Electric Grill, turning Bog Jelly into Swampy Delights can improve meal quality without changing the underlying water cost. Otherwise, it remains a straightforward raw food with clear value in swamp-biome setups and in ranches that convert surplus food into useful secondary resources.
