Molten Salt

Molten Salt is the molten form of Salt, produced when Salt is heated to its melting point. It behaves like a normal liquid element and can be piped, stored, and moved like other liquids, but its main practical value is as part of heat-management setups rather than as a common industrial fluid.

Because Molten Salt and Salt Gas have different specific heat capacities, repeatedly vaporizing Molten Salt and then condensing the resulting Salt Gas can be used as a source of heat. This makes the element useful in thermal systems where phase changes are deliberately cycled to generate or transfer heat.
