Core Tech Chest
A chest that seems to have been the black box of an alien ship.
Overview
The Core Tech Chest is a double-wide chest that appears after defeating the Core Commander. It is placed by the boss on defeat and contains the loot awarded for the fight.
As a reward container, it marks the end of the encounter and is the source of the Core Commander’s drops rather than a crafted storage object. Because it is generated directly by the boss, it should be checked immediately after the fight to collect the contents before leaving the area.
