Crydra Chest

The Crydra Chest is a double-wide chest that appears when Crydra the Ice Titan is defeated, containing the boss’s loot. It serves as the post-fight reward container for the encounter and is distinct from ordinary storage by its larger footprint and special placement. Because it is tied to the boss drop, it is one of the clearest signs that the fight has been completed and its rewards have been claimed.

Unlike many placeable objects, the Crydra Chest can be placed on top of water. That makes it useful in locations where normal chest placement would be awkward or impossible, and it also fits the watery environment associated with the Crydra fight. Since it is a double-wide chest, it occupies more space than a standard chest, so it is worth leaving enough room around it when positioning or moving it after the battle.

In practice, the chest is mainly noteworthy for two things:

• It is the loot container left by Crydra the Ice Titan after defeat.
• It can be placed on water, giving it more flexible placement than typical ground-based storage.

Because it is a boss reward chest rather than a standard crafted container, its value is tied to the encounter itself. Players encountering it should treat it as the result of the boss clear and as the source of Crydra’s loot, rather than as an ordinary storage option.
