Malugaz Chest
A cursed leather chest reminiscent of the Corrupted Shaman.
Overview
The Malugaz Chest is a double-wide chest that appears after Malugaz the Corrupted is defeated. It serves as the loot container for the fight, holding the boss’s rewards once the encounter ends.
Before version 1.0.1.0, Malugaz’s loot was contained in a Titan's Chest instead. In normal play, the chest is simply the post-battle reward object and does not require any special interaction beyond opening it to collect the drops.
The chest is part of the Malugaz progression in The Forgotten Ruins. Defeating Malugaz also yields the Stolen Crystal Heart, which is used in the Malugaz Statue, so the chest is one of the main markers that the boss fight has been completed successfully.
