A large, ancient chest crested with gemstones.

Overview

Titan's Chest is a double-wide chest that appears as a reward container in Core Keeper. It is placed by Azeos the Sky Titan and Ra-Akar the Sand Titan when they are defeated, and it holds their loot. In addition to these boss encounters, Titan's Chest can also appear in some instances of the Forlorn Metropolis, where it contains various random loot.

Because it occupies two tiles, Titan's Chest is larger than a normal chest and is meant to stand out as a special reward object rather than ordinary storage. Its main role is to serve as the boss drop container for major progression fights, making it one of the more distinctive loot containers in the game world.

  • After defeating Azeos the Sky Titan or Ra-Akar the Sand Titan, check the area for Titan's Chest to collect the boss rewards.
  • In the Forlorn Metropolis, a Titan's Chest may generate as part of the environment and can contain random loot instead of a fixed boss drop.
  • Since it is double-wide, make sure there is enough open space around it if you want to place or access it comfortably.
  • Its appearance is tied to special content, so it is not treated like a standard storage chest found in common crafting or exploration areas.

Titan's Chest is therefore best understood as a special loot chest associated with high-value encounters and late-game exploration. When found after a titan battle, it functions as the boss's reward container; when found in the Forlorn Metropolis, it acts as an unusual treasure chest with randomized contents.
