Cooked Saltwater Fish

It's a bit salty.
Overview
Cooked Saltwater Fish is a cooked food item made by placing any caught saltwater fish on a Camp Fire or BBQ. The amount produced depends on the fish’s value, and this was adjusted with the Summer Sun Update 0.8.0, which changed the price balance of some fish and therefore the cooked output they generate.
A single fish can be cooked into multiple fillets, so the result is not always a 1:1 conversion from raw catch to finished food. The cooking time also depends on the station used: a Campfire takes 12 seconds per fillet, while a BBQ takes 6 seconds per fillet. The BBQ is therefore the faster option for processing fish in bulk.
- Only saltwater fish can be used for this item; freshwater fish do not produce Cooked Saltwater Fish.
- Higher-value fish yield more cooked fillets than lower-value fish, so the output varies by species.
- The Summer Sun Update 0.8.0 changed fish pricing, which affects the number of fillets received when cooking.
- If you want faster processing, use a BBQ instead of a Campfire.
- Because output scales with fish value, Cooked Saltwater Fish is useful both as a food source and as a way to turn valuable catches into more food efficiently.
