Glowing Mushroom

Glowing Mushroom is a foraging item that grows in the Deep Mine. It can be harvested by hitting it with a weapon, a scythe, or certain tools such as the jackhammer, which dislodges it so it can be picked up. Unlike many other plants, it is not grown through normal flower-bed or pot placement, so collecting and replanting it works differently from standard crops.

To plant a Glowing Mushroom, dig a hole and bury it in the ground. It cannot be placed in Flower Beds or Pots for traditional reproduction, so those methods do not work for spreading it. Because it is tied to the Deep Mine, it is most useful as a gathered resource rather than a farmed one.

Glowing Mushroom is also Sally’s favorite food, making it a useful item to keep on hand if you want to raise her affinity.
