Waterbed

Waterbed is a placeable furniture item used to create decorative water features on the island. It becomes craftable at the Crafting Table after obtaining the Water Scaping Licence from Fletch. Once unlocked, it is mainly used for building custom ponds, pools, and cascading displays rather than for any direct progression purpose.

Waterbeds are especially useful for making waterfalls. By placing two Waterbeds next to each other at different heights, you can form a flowing drop between them. A waterfall built this way can reach a maximum height of 17 blocks total, with up to 11 blocks above sea level and 6 blocks below sea level. This makes it possible to create both elevated cascades and sunken water features.

Waterbeds also have a few practical interactions beyond decoration:

• You can jump into three joined Waterbeds to extinguish yourself if you are on fire.
• A used watering can can be refilled from a Waterbed, just like from natural or built water sources such as the ocean, river, Water Tank, Brick Fountain, Brick Well, and Garden Tap.

Because Waterbeds can function as a refill point, they are useful in landscaped farms and gardens as well as in large decorative builds. They fit best when paired with other water-themed structures, especially if you want a controlled source of water in an area away from natural bodies of water.

The recipe is unlocked through the Water Scaping Licence, and the crafting output yields multiple Waterbeds at once.
