Overview

The Crafting Table is the basic station used to make many early-game items in Dinkum. It is available from the start inside the Base Tent Deed, and it remains usable after the Base Tent is upgraded into the Town Hall. A second Crafting Table becomes available in Franklyn’s Lab after he moves to the island.

This station is central to progression because it is where many of the game’s early utility items and building pieces are created. On Day 1, the Crafting Table already includes recipes for Rock Path, Crude Fence, Wooden Torch, Cooking Table, Crafting Table, Crude Ladder, Dunny, and Gum Log Seat. As the player advances, more recipes are added by completing tasks for Fletch, while additional crafting options are unlocked through Blueprints and Licences.

The Crafting Table also supports bulk crafting for stackable items. When crafting an item that can be stacked, the player can press + to increase the amount made or - to reduce it, allowing large batches to be crafted at once instead of repeating the action one item at a time. This makes it especially useful for materials and supplies that are consumed frequently during building, farming, and exploration.

  • Use the Crafting Table in the Base Tent from the beginning of the game.
  • Keep using it after upgrading the Base Tent to the Town Hall.
  • Visit Franklyn’s Lab for access to another Crafting Table once Franklyn has arrived on the island.
  • Check back after completing Fletch tasks, since new recipes are added over time.
  • Look out for recipes unlocked through Blueprints and Licences.
  • For stackable outputs, adjust the craft quantity with + and - before confirming.
