Amber Chunk

The Amber Chunk is a large, yellowish piece of amber that can be found while metal detecting or by digging in the ground. It is a large item, so it can be carried overhead or placed on a vehicle for transport, and it can pass through a Tele Tower or Tele Pad while being carried.

Amber Chunk is primarily a sellable collectible. Take it to John’s Goods and place it on the scale to have John weigh it and offer a price based on its weight. Because the sale price depends on the weight shown at the time of weighing, players sometimes save before selling and re-roll the result if the offer is not worthwhile.

It can also be kept for decoration, since it is large enough to display as a visible item. Another use is for photo requests from NPCs, which can require holding onto rare or distinctive objects like this one. It can also be photographed with a Camera or Camera Tripod before being sold.
