Tele Pad

The Tele Pad is a town building that works with the Tele Towers to let the player fast travel around the island. After Franklyn has moved onto the island and at least two Tele Towers have been repaired, he will suggest building one and direct the player to talk to Fletch about the Tele Pad Deed. Only one Tele Pad exists in town, and it can be relocated later by speaking with Fletch about moving a building.

To use the Tele Pad, stand inside the pad on top of the marked circle. The map opens with icons for each repaired tower, and selecting one teleports the player there. The pad depends on the tower network, so a tower must be repaired before it can be used.

• If a tower is pinged on the map, it cannot be teleported to until the ping is removed.
• This restriction also applies in multiplayer, where another player’s ping can block access to a tower.
• The deed is also required if the Tele Pad is to be moved.
