Town Bell

Overview
The Town Bell is a town building unlocked after the Town Hall has been built. To obtain its deed, talk to Fletch about the town, and she will give you the Town Bell Deed so you can choose where to place it. Like other deeds, construction only begins after the required materials have been deposited into the build-site box, and all existing town debt must be fully paid before another deed can be applied for.
Once construction starts, the Town Bell takes 2 nights to complete. The deed’s materials are 10 of each of the common basic building resources, plus 16 of the final required item and 1 additional component, matching the standard town construction process used for major public buildings.
The Town Bell can be rung either by interacting with it or by hitting it with a weapon or tool. When rung, it reveals the map icons of every permanent resident currently on the island for 25 seconds, making it useful for tracking where villagers are. It does not affect temporary visitors, including those at the Visitors Site, Ted Selly, Jimmy, Nick, and the TownCo. Agent.
- Useful for quickly locating permanent residents around the island.
- Only affects residents who are part of the town, not temporary NPCs.
- The map icons last briefly, so it is best used when you need a fast check on everyone’s positions.
