Band Stand

The Band Stand is a stand-alone building used as a gathering place for NPCs during Island Day and Sky Fest. It does not function as storage or a regular interactable building for placing items inside; its purpose is tied to town events and the way the island stages them.

To obtain the Band Stand Deed, talk to Fletch about the town after 3 permanent residents have moved onto the island. She will give the deed so the player can choose where to place the building. Like other town deeds, construction does not begin until all required materials have been deposited into the box at the build site. The Town Debt must also be paid off through the donation box in the Base Tent Deed or Town Hall before another deed can be applied for.

Once construction starts, the Band Stand takes 2 nights to finish. The required build materials are listed in the deed’s recipe requirements, and the game can track them in the Journal with Track Recipe Requirements. Since the first event that uses it can happen on 28 Spring for Island Day, it is best to have the Band Stand under construction by 6 Autumn so it is ready in time for the seasonal schedule.

• Island Day celebration: 28 Spring
• Sky Fest celebration: 8 Autumn
• The Band Stand should be finished before these event dates so NPCs can gather properly.
• Avoid moving the Band Stand, or the Visitors Site, on the day before an event, as the event may fail to occur.
• After placement, the building remains a dedicated event structure rather than a container or decorative shell.
