Jimmy

Jimmy is an NPC who visits the island by boat rather than moving in permanently. He appears only when it has rained in the morning and the island owner has money deposited in their bank account. When he arrives, he can only be found on water and is marked on the map with a brown ? symbol.

Jimmy functions as a traveling bulk buyer. He offers to buy items in stacks of 50 or more of the same item, and he pays double for qualifying stacks. His prices are also described as 50% higher than John’s Goods, making him a lucrative option when clearing out large quantities of materials or finished goods. Because he is a visitor rather than a resident NPC, his store remains open until the player goes to sleep, so there is no need to rush to him the moment he arrives.
