Milburn

Milburn is an NPC who moves to the Island after the Bank is built. He owns and runs the Bank, and unlike Visitors, he does not arrive through the Visitors Site. Once the town Economy reaches 35% or higher, the Bank Deed becomes available, and Milburn moves in automatically when the building is completed.

He is the banker for the island’s financial services. Speaking to him at the Bank allows the player to deposit Dinks, where they slowly accrue interest, and withdraw those Dinks from any other bank visited later. He also offers an exchange service for converting Dinks into Permit Points during his operating hours. The Bank is open from 7am to 4pm, and it is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Milburn’s dialogue reflects his role as a banker and his fondness for money, diversification, and the island’s growth. He also comments on wildlife, tools, and food, including cameras, scarecrows, giant drumsticks, and local animals.

• The day after a player reaches 2 or more relationship hearts with an NPC, the “Let’s hang out!” option becomes available.
• NPCs can be invited to hang out on their day off or after work.
• Milburn is available for conversation and interaction during the Bank’s opening hours.
• During December, his building does not display festive lighting.

Milburn also has several idle remarks tied to the time of day and weather, including comments about fishing being better in the morning or at night, enjoying sunsets, and warning that the sun will soon set.
