Permit Points

Permit Points are a form of currency in Dinkum. They are used to purchase Licences from Fletch and to buy items from Jimmy's Boat, making them one of the most important progression currencies in the game.

Permit Points can be earned in several ways:

• completing Milestones
• completing Bulletin Board tasks
• completing daily NPC tasks
• donating one of each acceptable item type to the Museum Deed
• converting Dinks to Permit Points at the Bank Deed

Because Licences unlock new tools, buildings, and activities, Permit Points are usually spent as soon as a player has enough for the next useful upgrade. They are also worth saving for Jimmy's Boat, where rare and useful items can appear for purchase. Managing Permit Points well helps keep early progression moving and gives access to more of the game’s systems over time.
