Enchanting Scroll

Overview
Enchanting Scroll is a legacy item that once existed in the game but is now removed or otherwise unobtainable. It is associated with the enchantment system, which applies different modifier pools depending on the item type being enchanted.
Enchantments are grouped by equipment category, and the same scroll-based system can roll both positive and negative modifiers. The available enchantments differ for trinkets and armor, tools, melee weapons, ranged weapons, magic weapons, and summon weapons. For example, trinkets and armor can gain bonuses such as +4 Armor, +10 Max Health, or +20% Mana Regen, while weapons and tools can roll bonuses to damage, attack speed, range, projectile velocity, tool damage, and other relevant stats.
Because enchantment value and enchant cost are tied to the modifier, some effects are stronger or weaker than others. Positive rolls generally increase the enchant value, while negative rolls lower it. Several categories also include tradeoffs that favor one stat at the expense of another, such as damage versus attack speed or range versus mana usage.
A few practical notes stand out from the enchantment tables:
- For trinkets and armor, Bulky gives +10 Max Health and is worth +10%, but in Brutal Mode it becomes less useful because enemy damage is so high that even fully Bulky trinket setups may only prevent one extra hit, and not always.
- Tool enchantments include Master and Shining, which improve both tool damage and mining speed, while Sharp gives a smaller pure damage boost.
- Melee weapons can roll highly aggressive options like Berserk, Adamant, Agile, and Harmful, while weaker outcomes such as Shoddy, Amateur, and Envious reduce damage or speed.
- Ranged weapons favor projectile velocity and range alongside damage, with Masterful and Skillful being among the strongest combinations.
- Magic weapons can trade mana efficiency for combat power, with Divine and Wise offering some of the best overall bonuses.
- Summon weapons can improve summon speed and target range, with Savage, Athletic, and Aware being the most notable offensive rolls.
Since the Enchanting Scroll is legacy content, it should be treated as part of the game’s removed history rather than a currently obtainable progression item.
