Genie Lamp

Overview
The Genie Lamp is a magic weapon found in Pirate Village chests and display stands. It becomes available for purchase from the Mage and the Broken Pirate after the Pirate Captain has been defeated. When both merchants have the same happiness level, it is usually cheaper to buy from the Broken Pirate, since both its best and worst prices are 100 coins lower than the Mage’s.
In combat, the Genie Lamp fires rapid water spray projectiles. These shots deal low damage, but they come out quickly and have almost no knockback, making the weapon feel more like a sustained pressure tool than a hard-hitting burst option. Its performance is therefore best when used to keep constant damage on a target rather than to control enemy movement.
- The weapon’s main strength is its rate of fire, not its individual projectile damage.
- Because the knockback is very low, enemies are not pushed away much, which can make it easier to keep landing consecutive hits at close or medium range.
- Its acquisition is tied to Pirate Village loot and post-Pirate Captain merchant availability, so it is a midgame weapon rather than an early one.
- If you are choosing between merchants, the Broken Pirate offers the better price under equal happiness conditions.
