Boar

Boars are the male counterpart to Pigs and can be domesticated and raised by players. They are not found wandering in the wild and cannot be obtained from villages. Instead, they can be bought from visiting Farmers and visiting Animal Keepers, or they can appear as part of the Homestead preset.

When killed, a Boar drops Raw Pork. Like other tameable livestock, it can be led with ropes and fenced in to form a pen, making it useful for organized animal keeping. Boars can also breed when kept with Pigs, as long as both animals are tame and ready to breed.

To tame a Boar, feed it Wheat by hand over a long enough period of time, or use a nearby Feeding Trough to do the same automatically. Once tamed, a single Boar can breed with multiple Pigs, which makes it a practical source for expanding a farm without needing to obtain additional Boars.
