Butterfly

A Butterfly is a passive critter that can be caught with a Net, causing it to drop as an item. It is found in several surface and underground biomes, including Forest, Forest Caves, Plains, Plains Caves, Desert, Snow, and Deep Caves Plains.

Butterflies can also appear in special conditions across all biomes, including at night, during April Fools, and during Valentine's Day. Since they can be collected as an item, they are mainly useful for capture and collection rather than combat.

• Found in Forest, Forest Caves, Plains, Plains Caves, Desert, Snow, and Deep Caves Plains.
• Can be caught with a Net to obtain it as an item.
• May also spawn in all biomes at night.
• Has special all-biome appearances during April Fools and Valentine's Day.
