Trapper Zombie

Trapper Zombies are one of the first monsters the player encounters. They spawn on Snow Biome surfaces at night and also appear in Snow Caves. At daybreak, they will run toward the nearest edge of the zone, like other surface enemies that despawn when morning comes.

They are a variant of Zombie, and are slightly rarer than standard Zombies. Trapper Zombies have a chance to drop the Trapper Hat, but they do not drop the Mysterious Portal.

• They are most commonly found while exploring snowy areas early in the game.
• Because they spawn on the surface at night, they are easiest to encounter during the first few in-game nights in a Snow Biome.
• Their morning behavior makes them less persistent than cave enemies, since they will try to leave once daylight begins.
