In Spaced Out!, it can also be found on the Exploding Ice Giant, Exploding Gas Giant, and Oil Asteroid Belt. Its regeneration rates are 27–81 kg/cycle, 15–40 kg/cycle, or 17–56.5 kg/cycle, depending on the destination.

Solid Methane is primarily a resource deposit rather than a processed industrial material, and the available sources only document where it appears in the starmap. It does not have any described active consumption use in the supplied information.
