Garage Rat

Garage Rat is a hostile creature commonly found patrolling around vehicles and performing maintenance. Unlike more common Rat variants, it does not flee when threatened, making it much more willing to hold its ground and engage the player directly.

In combat, it attacks by swiping with a Pipe Wrench, so close-range encounters are the main danger. Its behavior around vehicles and repair work makes it stand out from ordinary Rats and reinforces its role as a scavenger-like mechanic enemy.

Defeating a Garage Rat can yield a consistent set of materials and a few rarer items:

• Pipe Wrench — 100%
• Oil — 100%
• Tactical Scrap — 50%
• Reinforced CPU — 50%
• Ornate Key — 3%

It can also be harvested for additional drops:

• Human Skull — 100%
• Human Arm (Military) — 50%
• Rat Suit — 7.5%

Because it does not flee, Garage Rats are easier to keep engaged than some other Rat enemies, but their willingness to fight means they can still be dangerous if approached carelessly. Their guaranteed Pipe Wrench and Oil drops make them a reliable source of early mechanical and crafting-related materials, while the rare Ornate Key and Rat Suit add extra value to hunting them.
