Winter Cabin

Winter Cabin is a hidden Homeworld location found in Dunkeltaler Forest inside the ASO building. It is unlocked by progressing through the North Pole content and defeating The Snowman, after which it can be accessed from the second floor down in the Homeworld teleporter room. It is presented as a small environmental secret, and is notable as the first Homeworld to be given away for free.

The cabin itself is a mostly peaceful place to linger or build in. It has no enemies, and the Leyak does not appear there, though assault events can still occur. Those events can be mitigated by placing a crafting bench to provide portal suppression, making the area unusually safe compared with many other locations.

• The cabin is surrounded by impassable snow terrain; stepping onto it results in death.
• A stationary sleigh can be seen far above the cabin in the sky, but it is difficult to make out clearly without binoculars.
• Traveling traders are able to appear there.
