Pineapple

Pineapple is a tropical fruit crop that grows exclusively in the Island Reef. Although it is classified as a consumable crop, planting one does not produce additional pineapples, so it behaves more like a found fruit than a renewable farm crop.

Because of that, pineapple is best treated as a limited island resource rather than a dependable food source. If you find one, it is useful to pick it up and keep it for its practical value, but you should not expect to establish a self-sustaining pineapple field from a single planting. In terms of processing, the crop has at least two listed one-to-one conversions that take 5 minutes and 10 minutes respectively, and there is also a recipe that consumes 10 pineapples to produce 1 output.
