Snac Fruit

Snac Fruit is a food item obtained in the Garden Biome. It is primarily a harvest product, and it can also be found while digging up buried objects in that biome. In practice, it serves as a renewable early-game food source tied to the region’s plant life rather than being crafted or processed from other materials.

The main way to obtain Snac Fruit is by harvesting Snac Root in the Garden Biome. Buried objects in the same biome also have a chance to contain it, making exploration there worthwhile even if the plants are not yet ready to harvest. If printing supply packages are enabled, a supply package can sometimes deliver Snac Fruit directly, providing a small burst of food without any farming setup.

In the DLC, Snac Fruit can also be discovered by printing only after the item has been found before or after surviving for 500 cycles. This makes it part of the broader progression of unlocked rewards rather than something always available from the start.
